Journey to my Book

Hello, hello!!!


It was and still is my life goal to write a book about the history of food, spice routes and its impact on globalisation and colonisation along with similarities across various cuisines. I was always curious about various types of breads such as Naan (Indo-Pakistani), Pita Bread (Middle East), Tortilla (Mexico), Focaccia (Italy) and their similarities in making along with their origin stories. I was always surprised by the food conversations that I had while I discussed the origin of cuisines with my girlfriend or their friends, who are mostly internationals. I find lots of similarities in making, along with some ingredients and surprisingly their names.


I hope I do my initial research and make a first draft of around 50 pages by the time I reach my 30th birthday. I'll keep things posted in this tag "Writing". Follow this thread to know more.
